Corporate Associate Attorney (1-4 Years)

A highly regarded St. Louis-area law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of experience to join its growing Corporate/Transactional practice group. Responsibilities

• Assist with and manage a broad range of corporate and transactional matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transaction documents
• Support mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and business transactions
• Advise clients on business law and corporate governance matters
• Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-focused counsel
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients on complex legal matters

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed in Missouri
• 1-4 years of experience in corporate law or transactional practice
• Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred:
  • Business law
  • Complex commercial transactions
  • Securities law
  • Tax law
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Corporate restructurings
• Strong drafting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Outstanding academic credentials, including graduation in the top one-third of law school class
• Law school transcript required for consideration

Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Clayton, Missouri. The firm maintains a collaborative, in-office culture and is not offering remote or hybrid work arrangements for this role. While some flexibility is available for occasional personal needs, attorneys are generally expected to work in the office during regular business hours.
